As an Integrated Behavioral Health Counselor, you will be at the heart of our patient care, bridging the gap between physical and mental health. In this role, you'll assess and treat patients, providing culturally sensitive therapy, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and enhancing the overall well-being of our diverse patient population. Responsibilities:

  • Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered individual, group, and family counseling and rehabilitation services to asylees and refugees.
  • Facilitate referrals to community resources and perform case management services.
  • Develop culturally relevant assessment and treatment plans.
  • Complete all documentation per Medi-Cal, Santa Clara County standards within expected deadlines.
  • Participate in clinical supervisions, consultations, team meetings, trainings, and on-call after hours rotation.
  • Complete and maintain LPS 5150 Authorization certification and provide officer of the day support.
  • Complete other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • ASW, AMFT, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.
  • Master’s degree in social work or psychology.
  • One year or more of clinical experience in Integrated Behavioral Health, Specialty Mental Health, and/or Brief Therapy Models.
  • Experience in providing behavioral health counseling in a healthcare or similar setting is highly desired.
